Our Story 

Our team is composed of four members: Frank X. Aceves, Jr., Crystal Orphanopoulos, Sofia Aceves, and Christopher Aceves.

Each of us had a different journey which has led us to Oak Wealth Management.

Our Process

Frank X. Aceves, Jr.

Financial Advisor

Frank is a California native and grew up in San Francisco.  He moved to the east bay in 1983.  He grew up with the desire to work in a career that would have a deep and meaningful impact on the lives of the people around him. 

At the age of 13, Frank worked multiple jobs after school and during the summers while growing up in San Francisco to diversify his experience, learn different things, and to start saving for his first car. Even at a young age, Frank adhered to a tight schedule that included school, playing baseball, and working because he lived by the philosophy that he was too young to be tired. 

When he reached the age of 18, Frank bought his first stock. He was so excited to watch the value in his stock go up that it motivated him to immerse himself in the financial field. From this, he strove to help other people in his same position to be financially successful and to pursue their financial goals.

Fresh out of college, while on a fast-track officer development program at a bank, Frank spoke with a financial advisor there that helped him forget about his childhood fantasies of becoming a police officer or baseball player. He knew that helping people with their investments as a financial advisor to pursue whatever was important in their lives was what he wanted to make his life work.  He chose this profession because of the positive impact he could have with people who struggle with their finances. 

For the better part of two decades, Frank worked for other financial institutions, but he later built his own firm. On February 14th 2014, he founded Oak Wealth Management, LLC with the goal of providing independent financial advice on a variety of financial topics in a friendly environment to better serve his clients.  He wanted to create an extraordinary client experience – an experience that his clients would embrace.  He always saw his clients as an extension of his family which is what led him to create a more familial experience. 

Frank’s journey highlights the true meaning of hard work, dedication, and focus on his dream.  Oak Wealth Management, LLC was built on the foundation of destiny, passion, and love with the intention of creating a personalized and remarkable client experience thereby giving its client family the financial care they want, need, and deserve.

Our History

Crystal Orphanopoulos

Administrative Assistant

Born in the Mid West and raised in Benicia, CA, Crystal grew up with aspirations to work in a field where she could make a difference.  She was determined to find a professional niche that would fulfill her desire to help people while fostering her relationship building skills.   

After high school, Crystal took a break from school to diversify her job experience and explore her future. As a result, her path intertwined with Frank's in late 1990 when they both worked for the same consumer electronics store called “The Good Guys.” When Crystal and Frank crossed paths, they instantly formed a professional relationship that grew into an amazing friendship that would come to last a lifetime. 

Within a decade, Crystal started her beautiful family and had two incredible children.  Once she accomplished her dream of having the most amazing family, she set out to finish college and earn a degree to help her find the perfect career where she could help others and make an impact. 

While Crystal was finishing college, Frank opened Oak Wealth Management in 2014 and began to build his team. For years Frank desired to work with Crystal again. She was always intrigued by Frank's offer and the opportunity to work in the financial field due to its major importance in our everyday life. He tried many time to recruit her, but the timing was never quite right and she was determined to finish school first and earn her degree.  

After earning her Associate of Arts degree with honors from Las Positas College in Livermore, CA., the stars finally aligned and a position opened up at Oak Wealth Management in early 2018. Fate came knocking at Frank and Crystal's door once again and she was finally able to join the Oak Wealth Management team as Frank's newest administrative assistant.

Crystal has found her niche and her home at Oak Wealth Management. Helping her Oak Wealth Management family pursue their financial goals and dreams gives her joy and happiness every day. She feels so incredibly blessed to be a part of this amazing organization, to have the honor of building relationships with her client family, and getting to work with one of her best friends every day!

Our Process

Sofia Aceves

Marketing Assistant

From a very young age, Sofia's father, Frank, taught her to believe that hard work and saving money would get her far in life. He began to implement those lessons by having her participate in house chores and backyard work for a little bit of money each week. He knew that with time, she would learn the concept of working hard for her money.

In addition to earning a weekly allowance, Frank taught Sofia how to save for items that she would want to buy later. Thus, he implemented the idea of savings by teaching her to split her earnings in half- one half would be spending money and the other would go towards savings.

Sofia began her first savings account when she was 14 and continues to increase her wealth. She began working at the age of 14 by securing a successful and enjoyable babysitting job with her neighbors. Two years later, she earned her first summer job position in a retail store and then branched out to experience many other positions within the next couple years.

In the spring of 2020, a position opened up at Oak Wealth Management and Frank presented an opportunity that she couldn't refuse.

Sofia joined the Oak Wealth Management team in June 2020 as a Marketing Assistant and looks forward to growing her knowledge and creative abilities. Currently she is a second year Diablo Valley College student and will continue to work for the company with plans to transfer to UC Santa Barbara. She is unclear on where her path will take her from there.

Our History

Christopher Aceves

Marketing Assistant

Since the age of five, Christopher has loved to sing and perform because it provided him with an unique sense of self-discovery. His first performance was in preschool where he played the role of Prince Charming in Cinderella.

A year later, he joined Contra Costa Children's Chorus, as well as a children's theatre company. Growing up, one of Christopher's dreams and goals was to move to New York by the time he was twenty-five to follow his calling of being a Broadway performer.

In high school, Christopher participated in the Monte Vista Choir and performed in the Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and Barber Shop, where they won multiple statewide competitions. He also joined the Theatre Arts Department and performed in many of their plays and musicals. Performing has always given Christopher a sense of home and has gotten him through everything that life has thrown his way.  

Earlier this year, Christopher took the next step to follow his dreams by moving to New York City in pursuit of performing on the Broadway stage. While in pursuit of a Broadway career, Christopher took interest in working at Oak Wealth Management to expand his knowledge and horizons into an industry that is extremely valuable in life.

Christopher looks forward to broadening his mindset and skillset while helping others do the same. He is grateful for this opportunity and is excited to start a new chapter in his life and career.
