Holiday Cranberry Jalapeño Dip


  • 12 oz fresh cranberries

  • 1/4C green onions, thinly sliced

  • 1-2 fresh jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely diced

  • 2 TBSP cilantro, chopped plus 1T for garnish

  • 1/4C sugar 

  • 1 TBSP lemon juice

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 16 oz softened cream cheese 


Use hand chopper to chop cranberries. (Food processor not recommended as berries juice too much.)

Combine berries, green onions, jalapenos, and cilantro. Add sugar, lemon juice, and salt, and mix to blend. Cover and refrigerate overnight! Or make in the morning for serving in the evening. 

Strain off all liquid before plating. Place cream cheese on plate and spread berry mixture over top. Top with 1 Tb. chopped cilantro serve with crackers and a spoon for the dip. Enjoy!
